An artist’s proof offset lithograph on paper of a painting titled Fifty Cents Worth Please by Kentucky artist C. Don Ensor. This piece depicts a man in a yellow 1920’s automobile stopped for gasoline at a pump operated by a young boy. It is titled to the lower center. It is signed by hand and in plate to the lower right, as well as inscribed ‘Best Wishes’ and signed again to the lower left. It is marked as an artist’s proof and dated 1975. The piece is presented behind a layered mat and glass in a wood frame that is wired for hanging.
Condition
- minor scratches along the framework; tears to paper backing.
