Antique Eastlake Style Chairs, Set of Four

A set of four matching antique Eastlake style chairs. The walnut chairs have two lobe flowers carved at the crest, set among geometric patterns of incised lines, and above a burl strip set over two carved, pierced dragons in the corners above the upholstered backrest, with a pierced rail underneath. The stiles slope down to hip supports, with reeded carving down the length. The apron has a burl strip with line carving, repeated above the knees of the ring turned trumpet legs, which end on casters. The back and seat are upholstered in a green, ribbed fabric. Four chairs total, all matching, no visible maker’s marks.
