A grouping of three hand colored engravings of insects after J.J. Schmuzer. These scientific illustrations depict beetles, flies and other insects pictured with different stages of their life cycles, against the white of the paper. Each insect is numbered or lettered for reference, and the artist is listed to the lower edge of each. They are mounted under layered mats and glass in the same wood frame, wired to hang.

- foxing to prints; minor wear to frame.
