Antique Chinese and Japanese Ceramic Plates
Item Details
A group of three antique Japanese and Chinese blue and white ceramic plates. Included is a antique Zhangzhou ware (also known as Swatow ware) with spontaneously executed decoration and an unglazed central rim. Also included are two antique Japanese Arita ware plates. The first features a large fish nd the second depicts four songbirds in a plum tree, all rendered in dark vermilion and cobalt glazes. All are unmarked.

- shows signs of wear consistent with use and age.
