Item Details

A Victorian carved rosewood parlor arm chair. The arm chair features a carved shell crest to the balloon back, rising on carved cabriolet legs and an apron with shell carving. The upholstery is obviously new and is a woven fabric with orange and yellow circles on a white ground. It is double trimmed in the same material that covers the back. Unmarked.

Condition

- some scratches and scuffs from use, there is a small piece of wood chipped off on the top rim, left of center
- fabric on arm rests is slightly worn
- chair is in solid shape
