A semi-antique hand-knotted Persian Mir Sarouk area rug. This rug features an all-over Mir-i-bota pattern in a palette of brown and goldenrod over a rust toned ground. The compound border displays alternating floral and foliate patterns with an inner sawtooth border. The rug is finished with brown selvedge and natural warp fringe. Unmarked.
