Giclee Poster After Maxfield Parrish's "Daybreak"
Item Details
A giclee on paper reproduction of an original painting by very well-listed American Neoclassical artist Maxfield Parrish (1870-1966), published in 1974 by New York Graphics Society. This print was considered by many to be the most popular image of the 20th century; according to several online sources, this image was at one time hung in one of every four American homes. It depicts a woman in a loose garment lying on the floor of an ornate columned room that opens to a stunning view of a mountain fjord flooded with light. Another nude woman leans over the one lying on the floor, seemingly awakening her. The print’s title and artist information are printed to the lower edge. The piece is presented without matting or framing, awaiting your choice of presentation.
