A large hand-knotted and carved Chinese-style area rug by Pande Cameron of New York. This Indian-made wool rug features a Chinese-inspired design beginning with a large floral medallion over an open, cream-colored field. The field is framed by broken borders featuring scrolling patterns, meanders, and florals. The palette is cream, salmon, taupe, and periwinkle. Selvedges are overcast, the rug finishing at each end with ivory wool warp fringe. It is labeled on the reverse.
