A hand tufted Chinese carved wool area rug. This rug features an ivory field with sculpted details featuring a central medallion showing an urn, figural motifs, and fret patterns. This unique rug also shows avian motifs along with more figural, and fret patterns to the border in hues of blue, and tan. The rug is finished with overcast selvedge edges with a natural warp ivory knotted fringe. Unmarked.
