An antique Eli Terry shelf clock, circa 1853. The clock features a scroll top wood pediment and a body made of cherry wood with painted black side columns. The front of the clock features a glass and mirror door that opens to reveal the clock’s face and hardware. The face of the clock is hand-painted in a light peach floral motif with green leaves and gold tone painted accents. It features black Roman numerals and dials. The interior of the clock includes a personal note in script with history and date details. The note has been translated in type font as well.

- clock is untested, however a repair receipt is included and seller states it is in working condition. Wear throughout frame, consistent with age and use. Top wood mantel piece is unattached. It appears to have been repaired and the painting has been restored.
