1945 Coca-Cola Large Sign

A 1945 Coca-Cola sign. ‘The pause that refreshes’ is the catchphrase for the woman who is holding a tennis racquet. Someone is handing her a bottle of Coca-Cola. The poster used to be in a frame, now it is behind a piece of acrylic; the acrylic is screwed down onto a piece of board. The sign was printed on thick stock. ‘Snyder & Black Inc., N.Y. Litho U.S.A.’ is printed in the bottom right corner; ‘Copyright 1945 The Coca-Cola Company’ is printed in the bottom left corner.
Condition
- to poor – paper loss, creases
- acyrlic cover is cracked and taped together
- remnants of the poster once being in a frame around the parameter
