A 1911 Bob Bescher Cincinnati Reds ‘Turkey Red’ oversized baseball card. This antique tobacco baseball card is #81 in this antique series. The card depicts a colorful image of this Reds star in a batting action scene. With a beige border, there is a caption that reads ‘Bescher Cincinnati’ on the front. The back side serves as a checklist for other players in this famous series. There is a date of 1911 on the back side and an advertisement for ‘Turkey Red’ and ’Old Mill/Fest cigarettes. This card is housed in a protective plastic sleeve.
Condition
- slight paper loss on the front side. Edge and surface wear with four pin holes that do not go through to the back side. There is a water stain in the lower left-hand corner on the front. Water stain does not go through to the back. Slight soiling. Wear consistent with age.
