Antique Porcelain Tableware Including Chinese Export
Item Details
A group of three porcelain tableware including Chinese Export, circa 19th c. It includes a Chinese Export helmet creamer featuring a white porcelain body decorated with a single floral motif and acanthus leaves to the interior rim. Also included is a Chinese Export sugar dish with a fitted lid adorned with a round final and twisted side handles. This piece is decorated with floral sprigs to the body with a scroll motif border. The second sugar bowl was made in England, circa mid-19th c. It features a sprig pattern that is hand-painted over the glaze consisting of blue floral and green leaf motifs. The fitted lid has a fluted rim trimmed in gilt and a round finial. The pieces have no discernible maker’s marks as was typical for the wares and the period.
