Royal Doulton "Don Quixote" Toby Jug with "Old Salt" Jar
Item Details
A pair of Royal Doulton porcelain vessels. This includes an Old Salt jar from the International Collectors Club: it features a sailor figure with a jug in one hand and a pipe in the other; a mermaid is to the side. A Don Quixote toby jug is also present. This figure was an influential knight character also known as Alonso Quijano in the Spanish novel, Don Quixote. Pieces stamped to undersides.
