Royal Doulton "Dickens-Ware" and "Gaffers" Cabinet Plates
Item Details
A collection of vintage Royal Doulton Dickens-Ware and Gaffers cabinet plates, 1920s-1930s. Included here are twelve plates with green rims, decorated with Dickens characters and towns. Included are Tony Weller, Sam Weller, two Dick Swiveller plates, The Artful Dodger, and Mr. Pickwick. Also included are Mark Tapley, and five Gaffers plates. They are marked with artists such as ‘Noke’, All are marked to their underside Dickens-Ware ‘Made In England/Royal Doulton/England’ with various titles and pattern numbers.
