PRIORITY-Handwoven Turkish Kilim Area Rugs

Item Details

A selection of handwoven Turkish kilims. The selection includes two small area rugs, with similar palettes. One has a palette of rose, saffron, gray, tangerine, and ivory; the palette of the other is rose, periwinkle, camel, tangerine, and ivory. Scorpion motifs figure prominently in the field of one rug, while the other features abstract hexagonal motifs surrounded by geometric floral clusters. The selvedges of each are double overcast, the ends finishing with wool/goat hair warp fringe. They are unlabeled.

Condition

- one of the rugs has some holes; both show signs of wear, with fraying along edges and at fringe ends.
