A hand-knotted Persian wool accent rug. A pendant medallion worked in shades of sage green, red, scarlet, pink, black, and off-white dominates the red field of this small mat. The spandrels are off-white with geometric floral motifs in the same palette as the medallion. The compound border incorporates off-white guard borders infilled with small flowers in pink, red, and sage green with a main border with a red background and a repeating pattern of flowers and leaves.There is cotton fringe at each end. A tag attached to the reverse states that the country of origin is Iran, the contents are 100% wool pile.
