Vintage Box Handbags Including Italian Tapestry

A group of vintage box handbags including Italian tapestry. This collection includes a wooden octagonal purse with a jockey horse motif with a gold tone lock, a brown lucite handle, a felted interior and no makers label. It also includes a tapestry box purse by Delill Made in Italy with metallic silver lurex yarns, gold tone hardware and a locking closure. The third piece includes a black handbag with a metal snap closure, two handles and a worn maker’s label.
Condition
- wooden handbag shows nicks and scratches, one printed panel starting to peel at corner, protective purse feet have been removed from base; black handbag shows minor scratches to exterior, scratched mirror on lid interior; tapestry box handbag has tarnished hardware, staining present, staining to interior, closure off, lids don’t line up exactly to close
