An offset lithograph on paper titled American Homestead Summer. Printed and published by Currier & Ives, the print depicts a house in the middle of a farm filled with fenced in cows, chickens, and a horse drawn carriage traveling down a dirt road. The print is marked ‘Published by Currier & Ives Entered According to Act of Congress in the Year 1868 by Currier & Ives in the Clerks Office of the District Court of the US for the Southern District of New York. 152 Nassau St. New York’ to the lower margin. Mounted under glass, the print is presented in a stained wood frame with a wire present to the verso for hanging purposes.
