A collection of antique French military plates. This collection includes a set of six vintage HBCM Hippolyte Boulenger-Creil-Montereau plates, marked ‘HBCM France’. The set features Cavaliers on their horses with clever sayings written below the images and a blue scroll design on the rims. Included are Cavaliers 2, 5, 6, 7,11 and 12. Also included is a set of four Mon Regiment U&C Sarreguemines plates depicting humorous Foreign Legion scenarios. Marked ‘Mon Regiment U&C Sarreguemines’ to undersides. Two additional plates marked ‘Depose Vie de Casern’ and ‘LM&Co. Creilet Montereau _Paris Assiege’ round out this unique collection.
Condition
-light dust, marks and discolorations with age, areas of worn detail; no chips or cracks found.
