Item Details
A vintage hand-knotted Kurdish Hamadan area rug. The rug features a pattern of geometric floral palmettes and vines throughout the deep red field in a palette of powder blue, cream, deep red, and black. The field is enclosed by a floral guard border and a primary border that features a meander pattern in a matching palette with a dark blue background. The rug has overcast edges with very short warp fringe and is not marked.
