Antique Royal Ironstone Serveware Set Circa 1896
Item Details
A set of antique Royal Ironstone serving dishes. There are five matching white pieces with a brown border and a simple brown floral motif to the center. Each piece has a maker’s mark to the underside with the words ‘Royal Ironstone China – Alfred Meakin – England.’. This backstamp was used prior to 1897.
Condition
- fair to poor condition for largest piece due to a large stain; fair condition for the other pieces with smaller stains and for the round plate with some chipping.
