A hand-knotted Heriz accent rug. The rug features a central hexagonal shaped medallion in a palette of red, powder blue, and taupe, on a deep red field. The field is populated by floral palmettes and vines with serrated spandrels and is enclosed by a compound border. The border features a turtle pattern throughout in a complementary palette. The rug has an overcast edge and a short fringe to either end. Unmarked.
