Item Details

A Louis XVI style marble top corner cabinet by Maitland-Smith. This piece features a gray and beige marble top in a triangular shape, bowed at the front. The wooden case is veneered with an inlaid appearance to the apron and bowed door front. The bowed door front has an urn encircled by a wreath of bell flowers, below a row of florets to the apron. The locking door is flanked by ormolu mounts of rams forming decorative stiles, ending in hoof feet. An ormolu shell and flower mount is to the bottom edge. A sticker to the back reads ‘Maitland-Smith/Hand Made in Philippines’.
