A collection of paintings by listed Ohio artist Paul Ashbrook (1867 – 1949) and Panayiota (20th Century). Ashbrook worked in New York, Cincinnati, Europe, and Mexico and is most known for his paintings, illustrations, and etchings. This collection includes one bright watercolor on paper depicting a mass of vivid and colorful flowers. This painting is signed to the lower right ‘Panayiota.’ Also included are four watercolor paintings by Paul Ashbrook; one depicting a landscape with an arched aquaduct, one depicting a group of canoes on a tranquil green river, one mixed media painting of a woman swimming in a large wave with two white silhouettes of birds, and one watrecolor of a group of girls at a picnic in a park. All of these paintings are signed to the lower corners. All five paintings are presented unframed.

- toning on some paintings; wear to edges due to being loose; smudges on versos of paintings.
