A Duncan Phyfe style settee. This piece draws inspiration from the Classical curule form. It features a straight pediment carved crest stepping down to curved shoulders with cushion back and rolled arms. The piece includes a rectangular cushion seat, scrolled arms fronts and rises up on tapering, reeded, splay legs ending in metal paw feet. The piece is upholstered in a peacock style fabric and with walnut framing accents.
