Antique Steamer Trunk

Item Details

A vintage Haskell Brothers steamer trunk. This large flat-top trunk is made of wood with canvas overlay. A metal plaque to the top reads, “Haskel Bros. Manufacturers / Chicago U.S.A.” It features a broken hasp, four original hinges, and leather handles. It is stenciled “Geo. A. Slight’ to either side.

Condition

- for age. Missing/ / broken hasp; worn wood; missing canvas covering to areas with rips and worn canvas overall; rust to the metal stays; musty interior. The four original hinges are operational but rusty; the leather handles are attached to both sides.
