1929 Studebaker Fire Engine

An historic 1929 Studebaker model S 60 fire engine; serial number is 3476638 and odometer reads 06097, with a red frame, historic license tags, wooden running boards, a spotlight and siren, an attached tool box, an axe, three brass firehose nozzles, a wooden ladder, and reeled hose. This engine was originally owned by the city of Sadieville, Kentucky.

Condition

- recently inspected by a World Class ASE Certified inspector with over forty years of automotive experience. His report reads, “Upon inspection of this vehicle, I find it to be in restorable condition. Chassis and bodywork are in very good condition for age with no signs of heavy collision damage. The engine has freeze damage and cracks on upper cylinder head. Freeze plugs have popped out indicating a hard freeze.” Overall rust and wear; flat tire to the right front wheel; missing floorboard; overall deterioration, especially to the running boards and seat.
