An M.J. Hummel authorized retailer plaque. The plaque reads “Authorized Retailer, M.J. Hummel, The ultimate display of affection, Goebel, Bringing quality to life since 1871”. The piece has the likeness of the figure ‘Merry Wanderer“, is incised ’187 A’ to the underside, stamped ‘Goebel W. Germany’, has the incised date of 1976, and the initals of the painter. The original box is included.
