A hand-knotted Chinese wool area rug. It has a buff-colored field with a circular floral medallion to the center, with matching spandrels and vase bouquets in the field, all in a palette of peach, deep brown and shades of green. The wide primary border features repeating scrolls and floral bouquets, framing a forced fret pattern. It has natural wool warp fringe to each end and is unmarked.
