Pair Ivory Soap and P&G Labeled Woven Picnic Baskets
Item Details
A pair of Ivory soap and P&G labeled woven picnic baskets. The lighter tone basket, which is marked with a darkened brass tone Peterboro Basket Co. tag on the front, features an image of a bar of Ivory soap, and the phrase ‘The Floating Soap for Over 125 Years’ in cursive lettering, printed in black on the lid. An appreciation to the employees from A.G. Lafley dated December 2004 is printed on the inside of the lid. A pair of brackets are affixed to the bottom. The darker tone semi-oval wicker basket features a removable rectangular lid and the large cut-out letters ‘P&G’ to the side. No maker is identified.
