World War II Era U.S. Army Air Force GSAP Camera

A World War II-era U.S. Army Air Forces G.S.A.P. (Gun Sight Aiming Point) camera. This 16mm camera was designed by Bell and Howell and licensed for manufacture to Fairchild Aviation Corporation for installation alongside American fighter planes to record the aerial combat of World War II. The Kodak 76mm f4.5 aviation lens has a 90-degree angle lens affixed to it that can mount a color filter. The original serial number plate is attached to the outside.

- significant discoloration to case; chipping and rust throughout; door may not close correctly; untested.
