These special edition books are bound in full leather with raised bands, gilt page edges and gilt cover decoration; this collection also includes the editors’ notes booklet for each book, presented together in a Franklin Library magazine file box. The books in this collection are The Theory of the Leisure Class by Thorstein Veblen, Interpretations and Forecasts by Lewis Mumford, A Mencken Chrestomathy by H. L. Mencken, Psychology by William James and Pragmatism by William James.
