Item Details
Framed antique tile. This gorgeous tile in pleasing green glaze displays an ethereal figure reaching out toward a cherubic figure holding a tablet, all in relief. A fantastic Victorian version of part of the Greek myth of Eros and Psyche. In black speckled gold tone wood frame. This tile is unsigned.
Condition
There is some wear marks throughout to the glaze, chip to the knee of the cherubic figure, heavy crazing, discoloration marks. The paper backing has been removed and piece will need re-mounted to frame.
