A collection of seven books of poetry published between 1977 and 1984 by the Franklin Library. These special edition books are bound in full leather with raised bands, gilt page edges and gilt cover decoration; this collection also includes the editors’ notes booklet for each book. The books in this collection are The Complete Poems of Hart Crane, T. S. Eliot’s Collected Poems 1909–1962, The Collected Poems of Wallace Stevens, Collected Poems of E. E. Cummings, Collected Poems of Marianne Moore, Collected Poems of W. H. Auden and Selected Poems of William Carlos Williams. All but the Hart Crane book are from the 100 Greatest Masterpieces of American Literature collection and include booklets of notes from the editors; the six booklets are presented together in a Franklin Library magazine file box.
