Ceramic Chinese Guardian Lion

A ceramic Chinese guardian lion. This type of lion is seen as a an apotropaic and protecting force where it is placed. It it shown with it’s front paws resting on a sphere with it’s back legs standing it upright. This piece has a green glaze over it’s ceramic surface. It is unmarked and has felt pads on it’s base to reduce surface scuffing.
