A vintage sterling silver compote dish by Bailey, Banks & Biddle Co. (established 1878, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania). This piece features a scalloped bowl with heavy floral and scroll repoussé around the edges on a short tapered stem and round base. The underside of the bowl is stamped ’ Bailey, Banks & Biddle Co.’ and the underside of the base is marked ‘Sterling 7024’. The approximate weight is 3.56 ozt.
