Well Painted Republic Period Chinese Porcelain Cachepot with Wooden Stand
Item Details
A finely painted Chinese porcelain cachepot, likely Republic period. One side depicts a seated male figure with nearby child. Another features a songbird perched in a blossoming tree. A poetic inscription is painted on another side of the planter alongside the signature ‘Lei Guifang’ (雷桂芳). Unmarked on the base, the planter is presented on a carved hardwood stand.
Condition
- no significant wear, would benefit from cleaning.
