A collection of four books of poetry published between 1979 and 1984 as part of the Franklin Library’s 100 Greatest Masterpieces of American Literature series. These special edition books are bound in full leather with raised bands, gilt page edges and gilt cover decoration; this collection also includes the editors’ notes booklet for each book. The books in this collection are Selected Poems of Edwin Arlington Robinson, Poems of Henry Wadsworth Longfellow, Final Harvest: Emily Dickinson’s Poems selected and introduced by Thomas H. Johnson, and The Poetry of Robert Frost.
