Featured are Selected Letters of James Thurber (1981), The Walnut Door by John Hersey (1977), The Snow Leopard by Peter Marrhiessen (1978), Picture Palace by Paul Theroux (1978), The Hill of Summer by Allen Drury (1981), Whistle by James Jones (1978), and The Origin: A Novel of CHarles Darwin by Irving Stone (1980). The books are presented in leather bound covers with gilt detail throughout and raised bands to the spine. Each edition is labeled as being part of the First Edition Society and includes a small booklet with notes from the editors.
