Upholstered Eastlake Style Side Chair

Item Details

An Eastlake style side chair on casters. It has an arched top with concentric circle set above a star and curled carvings, accented by burl panels on the arch and stiles, and by incised curled vine and leaf design on the ears. The decorative spandrels and hip supports have angled corners, with incised stars and lines on the hip supports. The apron has a burl panel to the center. The tapered front legs have ring turning and are raised on casters. It has been reupholstered in a beige fabric with purple, pink, and green floral design; it has a David J. Masterson Upholsterers tag to the underside.
