Upholstered Victorian Armchair and a Footrest with Slipcover

An antique hand-carved and upholstered armchair. The Victorian style chair features a hand-carved wood frame featuring flower and ribbon motifs. It is thickly padded and upholstered in a pale pink and cream floral brocade fabric, featuring a separate, contoured seat cushion. The chair is accented with brass nail head details along the seams throughout. It comes with a matching throw pillow with piped edges, and rests on elaborately carved, short legs. No maker’s marks. Included is a rectangular footstool with wood legs, which is upholstered in a dark coral colored sateen fabric. The footstool comes with a white slipcover with floor-length ruffled skirt. A label on the underside is marked ‘The Commodore Collection by Rosalco, Made in Thailand’.

• Please be advised, furniture items must be picked up and removed by winning bidder during the scheduled pick-up time on pick-up day. A moving charge will be incurred by winning bidders for any items not picked up. If winning bidder chooses to not have the item moved for alternate pick-up, the winning bidder will incur a disposal fee to have the item removed.

Frame has faint surface marks, wear, consistent with age; overall good condition
Upholstery is fairly recent and in good condition
Repaired damage to one front leg
