Vintage Depression Era Four-Drawer Chest

Item Details

A vintage Depression era four-drawer chest, circa second quarter of the 20th century. The wooden, off white-painted case features a rectangular top with a rear gallery above a stack of four long drawers. The fronts are fitted with knobs and embellished with applied moldings and incised decorations. The chest rises on turned and tapered, front legs centered by a shaped skirt.
