A vintage Louis XV style upholstered sofa or canapé. The sofa has a hand-carved hardwood frame with a walnut stain, featuring a lyre and ribbon motif to the top center rail, and pierced ribbon and leaf swags along the bottom rail. The sofa has been professionally reupholstered in recent years, featuring apricot colored velveteen, with fine upholstery details including button tufting to the curved insides, with piping along the seams and ruched details to the sides of the separate, contoured seat cushion. The sofa rests on eight short, hand-carved cabriole legs. No maker’s marks.

• Please be advised, furniture items must be picked up and removed by winning bidder during the scheduled pick-up time on pick-up day. A moving charge will be incurred by winning bidders for any items not picked up. If winning bidder chooses to not have the item moved for alternate pick-up, the winning bidder will incur a disposal fee to have the item removed.
