Vintage to Semi-Antique Persian Wool Qum Hunting Rug
Item Details
A hand-knotted Persian wool Qum hunting rug. The rug features a pictorial scene of hunters on horses, birds, animals, and florals throughout the field. It is in a color palette of cream, taupe, black, and red. One of the faces on a human figure has been woven over or repaired. The field is enclosed by a linear border in black with a short fringe. Marked to the back, ‘Made in Iran’.
