Item Details
A hand-knotted Persian Kashan wool area rug. This rug features a crimson red field with a central medallion surrounded with highly elaborate floral and foliate motifs along with herati patterns. This rug also features a blue herati border with a pair of carnation meander guard borders, in colors of rose, amber, ivory, and light green. The rug is finished with short natural warp ivory fringe ends, and shows a tag that reads, ‘Made in Iran, Handwoven Carpet and Rugs’.
