A collection of three classic religious works published between 1976 and 1981 as part of the Franklin Library’s 100 Greatest Books of All Time series. These special edition books are bound in full leather with raised bands, gilt page edges and gilt cover decoration; this collection also includes the editor’s notes booklet for each book, stored together in a Franklin Library magazine file box. The books in this collection are John Milton’s Paradise Lost, John Bunyan’s The Pilgrim’s Progress and the Confessions of Saint Augustine.
