An engraving after The Royal Princesses: Children of George III by American artist John Singleton Copely (1738 – 1815). This print, after a painting by well know American colonial portrait painter J.S. Copely, depicts the daughters of George the III, King of England from 1760-1820. Shown here are Princess Mary, Princess Amelia, and Princess Sophia along with three Spaniels. The original painting hangs in Buckingham Palace. The print is marked R. Graves A.R.A. Sculpt to the lower right and J.S. Copely R.A. Pinxt. Titled The Royal Princesses: Children of George III to the center lower margin. Matted in white and presented behind glass. Frame is constructed on wood covered in a silver tone metal foil. The finish on frame is scratched in several places.
