Featured are Political Writings by Jean Jacques Rousseau (1982), Pensées by Blaise Pascal (1979), Philosophical Works by René Descartes (1981), and Honoré de Balzac by Pere Goriot (1977). The books are presented in leather bound covers with gilt detail throughout and raised bands to the spine. Each edition has been translated to English and includes a small booklet with notes from the editors.
