Victorian Beaded Handbags

Item Details

A group of two Victorian handmade beaded handbags. It includes a taupe colored beaded handbag decorated with floral motifs in a pink, blue, and purple color palette. It has a crochet top and straps; the interior is lined in a sage green and houses a single pocket. Also included is a handbag with a silver tone metal frame top with ornate motifs and chain strap. The beaded body features a design of swans swimming in a lake surrounded by vegetation. The handbag is adorned to the bottom with purple and blue beaded fringe. The interior is lined in green with two pockets and a tag that reads, ‘handmade.’

Condition

-some loose beads, floral handbag has holes to the sides where it was de-attached from the metal and some ripping to the interior lining; swan has wear to the interior; slight odor
